All Gov’t lies Stem From The Mother of all Lies ~ The 9/11 Official Story

As the Syrian guns of war propaganda heats up, driven by a severely discredited Congress which enjoys an approval rating of less than 15% ~ the clearly anti Syrian intervention American public (90% against) finds itself once again ignored and obviously lied to, coerced and manipulated by the Obama administration’s imperialistic agenda which is determined to have its way ~ and all of this set against the 12th anniversary backdrop of the Bush/Cheney administration’s mother of all lies ~ the 9/11 official story:

Propaganda is to a democracy what the bludgeon is to a totalitarian state.” –  Noam Chomsky

It was Carl Sagan who once wrote “One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

America was bamboozled 12 years ago by the mother of all lies, the official 9/11 story, as perpetuated by the Bush/Cheney administration to the extent that all the subsequent lies seem relatively minor and acceptable ~ and all, including Syria, under the guise of humanitarian regime change. As the executive branch becomes all powerful, Congress becomes a willing accomplice and a charlatan Nobel peace Laureate president Obama willingly ushers in the New World Order.

‘Regime Change’ is still the name of the game for the world’s only superpower and Obama is beginning to flaunt that uncontested power as reported by the Guardian’s Dan Roberts and Dan Ackerman ~   “While stressing that Washington’s primary goal remained “limited and proportional” attacks, to degrade Syria’s chemical weapons capabilities and deter their future use, the president hinted at a broader long-term mission that may ultimately bring about a change of regime ~ “It also fits into a broader strategy that can bring about over time the kind of strengthening of the opposition and the diplomatic, economic and political pressure required – so that ultimately we have a transition that can bring peace and stability, not only to Syria but to the region,”  Obama told senior members of Congress at a White House meeting on Tuesday. See Guardian article ~

Just like, I facetiously add, regime change has brought peace and stability to the ongoing nightmares of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and nightmare in waiting, Syria.

This “Trust me” attitude by Secretary of State Kerry and President Obama towards the flimsy evidence that Assad and Syria were responsible for chemical attacks on their own people is reminiscent of the charlatans Bush, Cheney, Rice, Tenant and Powell as they pushed their Weapons of Mass Destruction lies and deceptions on the American public with the same “trust me” attitude which masked their obvious goal of Regime Change in Iraq, at any cost. Iraq was an eight year war costing the United States more than a trillion dollars, 4,400 American soldiers dead and the displacement of two million Iraqis.

Obama Making More Enemies Than Friends

by Stephen LendmanObama

US interventionism is increasingly unpopular. Obama hoped G20 leaders would back his Syrian attack plan. He learned otherwise. He met stiff opposition.

Belligerence is increasingly rejected. America makes more enemies than friends. On September 6, The New York Times headlined “Obama Stymied in Bid to Rally World Leaders on Syria Strike.”

He met more opposition than support. “After a dinner debate that lasted into the early morning hours of Friday, Mr. Obama emerged with a few supporters but no consensus.”

Most G20 leaders oppose attacking Syria. They do so without Security Council authorization.

“Even France, which has offered the strongest support to Mr. Obama of the European allies, on Friday said that it would not strike Syria as part of a coalition until the United Nations completes its work on assessing the suspected use of chemical weapons in Syria.”

It’s expected to take at least two more weeks. It’ll report on whether toxic substances were found. It’ll do so short of attribution.

Obama’s failure to rally world leaders’ support makes it tougher to do so at home. Congressional members are being carpet bombed with constituent opposition.

Obama’s more isolated than any time before. He’s in “the awkward position of defending” what most Americans oppose.

Congressional support is waning. Unilateralism isn’t selling well. Obama acknowledged his unpopular position.

He’s on the wrong side of history. He’ll give it another go next Tuesday. He’ll deliver a nationally televised address on Syria.

He’ll lie like he always does. Americans are increasingly more savvy. At least they are this time. It shows in opinion polls. They overwhelming oppose attacking Syria.

They do so for good reason. They’re tired of wars with no end. They want peace. They want jobs. They want US resources spent to create them.

Selling war falls increasingly on deaf ears. At a Friday St. Petersburg news conference, Obama tried again, saying:

“Failing to respond to this breach of this international norm would send a signal to rogue nations, authoritarian regimes and terrorist organizations that they can use WMD(s) and not pay a consequence.”

“And that’s not a world we want to live in.” According to The New York Times:

“(M)uch of the world, at least as represented at the Group of 20 meeting did not favor Mr. Obama’s proposed course of action.”

Vladimir Putin cited South African President Jacob Zuma’s comments, saying:

” ‘Small countries in today’s world in general are feeling increasingly vulnerable and unprotected. There is an impression any superpower at any moment at its discretion may use force.’ And he’s right.”

“I can assure you – and the latest polls say this as well – the overwhelming majority of the populations in these countries is on our side,” he added.

Obama headed home Friday night. According to The Times, “he braced himself for what advisers consider one of the most critical Congressional debates of his presidency.”

“I knew this was going to be a heavy lift,” he said. “I was under no illusions when I embarked on this path.”

“But I think it’s the right thing to do. I think it’s good for our democracy. We will be more effective if we are unified going forward.”

Weeks earlier, Obama expected much more support. Whether he was blindsided in St. Petersburg isn’t clear.

Lawless aggression is wrong, not right. It’s bad, not good. It harms America. It makes it less safe. It makes more enemies than friends. It puts a lie to US democracy.

Attacking Syria risks regional conflict. It risks spreading it globally. It risks what no sensible leader should dare.

Selling what demands condemnation increasingly isolates America. Obama may face a fight to save his presidency. His legacy’s already pockmarked. It exceeds the worst of all his predecessors.

He’s shooting himself in the foot on Syria. The harder he sells Big Lies, the less support he gets. It’s true at home and abroad.

London’s Guardian headlined “G20: frosty stares betray anger and mistrust over Syria,” saying:

St. Petersburg featured heated interchanges, “bilaterals, plenaries, brush-bys, informals, dinners, light and dance shows and quick chats between 20 world leaders attending.”

Before Obama arrived, Putin called John Kerry a liar. “And he knows he lies,” said Putin.

By the time he greeted Obama, “the US president was ready to deliver the death stare. They managed 15 seconds of pleasantries.”

“Elsewhere, Obama was greeted by a chorus of dissent from other world leaders urging him to show restraint.”

“And what of Cameron? It was in St Petersburg, at an earlier G8 summit, that President George Bush famously greeted Tony Blair “Yo, Blair.”

“After his ignominious and mishandled defeat in the Commons last week, relations between the current UK prime minister and US president are more strained.”

Obama emerged from St. Petersburg weak. On September 6, London’s Guardian headlined “Obama assembles fragile alliance blaming Assad for chemical attacks.”

Most G20 countries oppose military action. Major ones include Russia, China, Brazil, India, South Africa, Argentina, Indonesia, Germany and Italy.

Obama’s support comes largely from France, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Japan, South Korea, Canada, and Australia. UK Prime Minister David Cameron backs him. Britain’s parliament opposes military action.

Obama expressed frustration saying:

“It’s conceivable at the end of the day I don’t persuade a majority of the American people that it’s the right thing to do.”

“And then each member of Congress is going to have to decide.”

Obama, his aides and John Kerry sent mixed messages. Earlier he said he’d act with or without Security Council and congressional approval.

From St. Petersburg he said he put the issue before Congress “because (he) could not honestly claim that the threat posed by Assad’s use of chemical weapons on innocent civilians and women and children posed an imminent, direct threat to the United States.”

On Thursday, John Kerry said:

“Constitutionally, every president, Republican and Democrat alike, has always reserved to the presidency, to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, the right to make a decision with respect to American security.”

Obama “reserves the right to respond as appropriate to protect the security of our nation.”

In other words, he can act unilaterally, says Kerry. Claiming it’s for national security doesn’t wash. It doesn’t matter.

National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden equivocated, saying:

“There is no change in our position. As the president has said, he has the authority to act, but his intention is to do so with the approval of the Congress.”

Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken said:

“The president of course has the authority to act but it’s neither his desire nor his intention to use that authority absent Congress backing him.”

At the same time, the Senate joint resolution authorizing force against Syria says:

“(T)he President has authority under the Constitution to use force in order to defend the national security interests of the United States.”

Senate Democrats drafted the resolution. They violated constitutional law doing so.

Under the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause (Article VI, clause 2), all international laws and treaties are the “supreme Law of the Land.”

UN Charter provisions prohibit attacking another country except in self-defense. It can do so until the Security Council acts. It has final say.

Congress may pass no laws violating international or constitutional provisions.

If House and Senate members authorize force on Syria, they’ll do so unconstitutionally. They’ll do it against popular opposition.

They’ll do it despite most world leaders calling for addressing the Syrian crisis diplomatically. Whether they’ll do it remains up for grabs.

A previous article suggested Obama’s heading for congressional defeat. Senate authorization is likely. House opposition is strong.

Around half its members ruled out support or said they’re unlikely to back it. Only 44 House members said they’ll definitely or likely authorize attacking Syria.

Heavy constituent pressure gives representatives reason for pause. If Congress votes no, Obama will be weaker than ever. He’ll face two bad choices:

  • accept an embarrassing climbdown, or
  • defy Congress, popular opposition, as well as core international and constitutional law.

Either way it’s lose, lose. It’s about time. His comeuppance is long overdue. His rap sheet includes egregious crimes of war and against humanity. They’re too grave to ignore

We are all al-Qaeda now, if Obama says so?

Cicero Denounces Catiline

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. He rots the soul of a nation – he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city – he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.” – Cicero, 42 BC

[Note: Dear Readers, I pushed the envelope on this piece because we don’t have the luxury of waiting any more as I sense the disaster clock ticking. So I put some new things on the table, a gamble with the international audience. It has done very well at PTV. This is the first time I am suggesting to click on their link above  to check out the comments there, when you finish reading here. They were an education for me. You might find them interesting, also.]

Will a Syrian attack without independent proof put Americans over the edge?

The political earth is shifting under our feet here in the US. There is talk now of something that most felt would be a down the road event… that America may be reaching a ‘tipping point’.

I define that to mean a much larger number coming to understand that our present form of government has failed us, including the balance of powers doctrine which the Founding Fathers carefully built into our system.

They did not have a crystal ball, and could not see that outside forces could combine with disloyal, greedy and even treasonous rogue elements inside multiple branches of the our government to literally co-opt the country into being a tool for these outside forces.

The recent case in Syria of the highly suspicious chemical attack (I am being kind here) has generated the lowest support numbers for American military action that anyone here can remember. But if that was not bad enough the Obama administration made another mistake.

Their official position was, “We have the power to do it, so it does not matter what the people think.” That was a very dumb move on their part and I think they will look back on it so.

A two-sided coin seems to be in play here. On June 21st Obama sent a War Powers justification notice to Congress regarding the 700 troops and the missile batteries being sent to Jordan. On June 27th he effectively nullified the War Powers Act by saying he was not going to use it anymore as American constitutional foundations were being undermined by using the act for continual war without Congressional consent.

A week ago Obama said he would seek UN approval for a Syrian strike, and absent that only a sizable international coalition would make an attack diplomatically justifiable, but said getting that done would be ‘problematic’.

What is pushing Obama to take such a dangerous gamble?

Then days later he flips again saying that he has the authority to punish the use of WMD (but not when we, the Israelis or our allies use it).

After the US has supported the killing of 100,000 Syrians, countless wounded and 8 million homeless in its disastrous regime-change ploy, we accuse Syria of a horrible crime.

And now, until he flips again, Obama is saying he wants Congress to have a debate and a vote, but still insists he has the power to launch an attack anyway.

Are you getting a bit confused? This all looks like a superpower in panic mode. But why?

The White House public policy advisers must have rocks in their heads thinking that Americans can’t remember all the juiced up Intel reporting that took us into series of disastrous wars that significantly endangered our national security, and still is. One really has to look back at it all and ask if that was not really their objective.

Dear Obama policy wonks and CIA people, we remember what a hoax our secret agent ‘Curve Ball’ was, and we don’t believe he scammed you. We think you let yourself be scammed by him as part of your own scam.

We remember the yellow cake hustle, the sacrificing of Colin Powell, and Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld playing used car salesman on CNN while he showed made in Hollywood underground cities that Al-Qaeda had in Afghanistan. Yes… it was all bogus, and we remember.

People do not think that it was misinformation, but fraudulent evidence use to fool the public, to herd us like lemmings to the sea. Rumsfeld is despised in the military and Intelligence community now, along with Bush and Cheney and the rest of the NeoCon traitors.

Paul Wolfowitz - Said Iraq war would pay for itself

We remember Wolfowitz testifying how two years of Iraqi oil production would cover the entire cost of the Iraq war.

I could go on and on but we all know now it was just one long record of failure after failure, except for all the contractor money that was made by all those who thought a multi-decade War on Terror was just wonderful.

But this week we saw two significant segments of American society begin to awaken from their long slumber, the silent majority and American veterans and their families.

Among the roughly 10% of Americans polled who supported an attack on Syria were all the pro-Israel American Jews, and the hard core Christian Zionists. What was missed is that most of the CZ’s seemed to be absent from the pro-military strike numbers. Even their leadership seemed to be keeping their heads down.

The rank and file military folks, they know they have been misused in the past and are a little more savvy about spotting another bogus national security threat being used as a cover for something else.

They sense the justification for a Syria attack as part of America’s post Soviet collapse continuation of commercial wars to secure and protect markets for multinational corporations, thus reducing the American people to plantation livestock and military cannon fodder.

They are seeing an insider government rogue element intermarriage with these supra-multinational corporations, including the banksters, as the most dangerous national threat that America has been facing. They are of course 100% right.

When Obama used Vietnam anti-war veteran John Kerry to trot out that pitiful excuse for evidence that Syria would pull a chemical weapons attack in areas where their ground forces had been succeeding, he shot himself in the foot. Absent was any mention of motivation, or the already known Intel of the rebels having chemical weapons and having used them.

A Marine speaks his mind - VT predicted major opposition in the ranks

Obama has now aligned himself with the depredations of the Bush II regime. His administration is now being viewed as a national security threat in itself.

Obama, the Brits and the French have all been quiet on the major terrorism operations being run out of Saudi Arabia by Prince Bandar.

They have murdered more people in Syria than were lost in New York City on 911. Syria has been getting the ‘911 treatment’ once a month, compliments of the protector of the free world.

Those who conspired to bring this about are guilty of crimes against humanity under international law.

The charge is simply conspiracy to commit terrorism, and taking direct action to effect such. This is like… a really really big crime. The last time I looked, diplomatic immunity did not protect you from that.

The world knows now that the ‘Iran has nuclear weapons’ scare was all hype, created to build support for a hope for strike against Iran. The economic consequences of that misadventure would have tanked the world economy.

What people, what nation would want to risk such a financial catastrophe when we have learned that the world financial system is a house of cards, constructed as such to benefit the few at the expense of the many?

Is the game of war poker a diversion from an impending financial collapse?

The only entities who would be for such a disaster would be those who could profit from it. Why do some multinational corporations have intelligence capabilities that surpass many countries?

Why does one of the major Internet companies have a paramilitary division, getting secret government contracts, including running assassination teams, unbeknownst to their shareholders? Do you think they are doing this for some public interest, or perhaps their own?

We must do more than just stop this contrived attack on Syria. We must break the machine the planned and pushed for it. We have to dig down to the bedrock and pull our home grown deeply embedded national security threats out by the roots.

We must do this to defend ourselves. They have already killed us, on 911, and gotten away with it. That makes them extremely dangerous.

The phony war machine crowd will be cranking up their Congressional lobbyists this next week. The American public will need to put the fear into their Congressmen like they have never seen before. And we have to up the stakes for this fight.

We have to start dialing back on where a penetration into the White House could then trigger a phony war based on phony Intel. And we have to clean out Israeli espionage in Congress as it is a constant knife to the throat of our country.

Lady Justice - We will need to invent a new one, that can protect us.

And we might want to put the Jim Dean trump card down on the table… no more internal investigations, period, as they are not worth spit.

It makes no difference if they are military, Justice Dept, White House, FBI, CIA, or NSA. They can all be rigged via high level political obstruction of justice.

Yes, we have knowledge of many FBI Israeli espionage investigations being stopped due to one call from the White House, which is nothing more than high treason.

We need a fourth branch of government whose sole job is to ride herd and root out corruption and treason in government, all branches of it. And such a fourth branch has to be answerable only to the people, where no political entity has veto power.

Only then will we be able to go down to the bedrock, and disinfect our house, and only then will we ever have any national security in any sense of the word. The only good thing that can come out of all this Iran/Syrian phone threat scam is that we use it as a launching pad to restart America all over again.

Our Intel files hold almost everything needed to prosecute the massive criminal empire that is protected by the highest political powers, because they are partners. They have all the bank transactions, all the emails, phone calls… and data mining can deliver them to the prosecutors offices on a conveyor belt.

We must make a pledge

Obama Views Israel as Top Security Threat

Enough Spying!!

Leaked documents reveal US sees Israel as a major spying  threat

by Julian Pecquet

The Obama administration views Israel as one of the top spying threats facing  its intelligence services, leaked documents reveal.

A secret budget request obtained  by The Washington Post from former NSA contractor Edward  Snowden lumps Israel alongside U.S. foes Iran and Cuba as “key targets” for U.S.  counterintelligence efforts. The document suggests Israel does not believe U.S.  assurances that its interests are aligned with Israel’s on crucial issues such  as Iran and peace talks with the Palestinians.

“To further safeguard our classified  networks, we continue to strengthen insider threat detection capabilities across  the Community,” reads the FY 2013 congressional budget justification for  intelligence programs. “In addition, we are investing in target surveillance and  offensive CI [counterintelligence] against key targets, such as China, Russia,  Iran, Israel, Pakistan and Cuba.”

The White House and the Israeli Embassy did not respond to requests for  comment.

The revelations come as no surprise to Georgetown University’s Paul Pillar,  who retired as the national intelligence officer for the Near East in 1995 after  a 28-year career in U.S. intelligence. Israeli spying, he said, has remained a  major threat since U.S. citizen Jonathan Pollard received a life sentence in  1987 in a massive spying case that gravely strained relations between the two  countries.

“Israel should be assumed to continue to have an aggressive intelligence  collection operations against the United States,” Pillar said. While much  information is collected through traditional political contacts, “I would  personally have no doubt that that is supplemented by whatever means they can  use to find out as much as they can about what we’re doing, thinking, deciding  on anything of interest to Israel, which would include just about any Middle  Eastern topic.”
