We can now report that the criminal investigation into the George W. Bushfraud firings of US Attorneys has circled its prey. Connecticut US Attorney Nora Dannehy, a hold over from outgoing US Attorney General  Michael Mukasey acting under the authority of the US Attorney  for the District of Columbia[1] appears to have cemented the proffo of criminal intent needed to indict former Bushfraud Attorney General and “capo” of the DOJ protection rackets, Alberto Gonzales  for Obstruction of Justice. Dannehy had already found the former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, known affectionately as “Judge” in the Bushfraud crime family from his stint with Bushfraud in Texas advising the then Texas governor “W” Bushfraud that everyone needed to die under the death penalty, no exceptions, had committed repeated perjuries to the US Senate denying any role in choosing the US Attorneys to be fired.

Special Prosecutor Dannehy has had the young Utah Bushfraud DOJ groupie Kyle Sampson by the short hairs. Sampson has squealed and sung even without water boarding that “Judge Gonzales not only knew all about the list of US Attorneys to get the ax but attended regular meetings to do the axing and get this-even created the list with the instruction of Bushfraud political mastermind Karl Rove.[2]

Now what’s left of America’s investigative journalists are beginning to speculate that Dannehy may yet have jumped the hurdles required for an Obstruction of Justice, Perjury and Criminal Conspiracy indictment against the Nation’s former top law enforcement official. However as a reader of the Stew Webb report, you will be first to receive the news that two of America’s former Attorney Generals are in this soup!

No its not Michael Mukasey. The Bushfraud corruption of the DOJ trifecta will be covered in a future Michael Mukasey Bernie Madoff feature partners in crime story. The hot trail currently is leading back to none other than Karl Rove’s former Missouri Bush gang homeboy John Ashcroft. Bushfraud’s first Attorney General and father of the Patriot Act.

The new Obama Justice-lite DOJ has been sifting through the forensic evidence at the epicenter of the US Attorney firings, far from mainstream media down in Kansas City where even the Kansas City Star censors news stories on Bushfraud crimes.  Not one but two US attorneys were fired before NPR and other media broke the story of Carol Lam. While mainstream media chased their tails over Bushfraud’s own cover story “the politicization” of the DOJ, insiders recognized that behind every US Attorney firing was a big public corruption investigation that was causing big wig Republican operatives to run crying to Karl Rove for protection.  Most were like Carol Lam, snooping in the Medicare embezzlement that is the life blood of Bushco’s twenty billion dollar revenue stream.

Bushfraud’s first Attorney General John Ashcroft was no where on the radar for this crime against the Constitution. Time Magazine and the rest were even polishing his image with the hospital bed refusal to yield the Fourth Amendment right of Americans to be free from warrantless wiretapping. Even fellow Missouri Bushfraud homeboy Senator Kit Bond was willing to take the rap for  his staff’s role in causing the firing of Kansas City’s US Attorney Todd Graves. Brother of Republican Congressman Sam Graves.

Then some facts from deep inside of Special Prosecutor Dannehy and Obama’s Justice-lite Department recently surfaced. Things the mainstream media never got around to covering. Senator Kit Bond’s nephew, US Attorney John Wood, with a wife Julie Myers that is a Bushfraud Homeland Security appointee was among the first hold over US Attorneys to leave when Obama’s Eric Holder got confirmed. How was Wood able to give up his day job? He got a plum position at Bushfraud’s Hughes Hubbard & Reed, “dealing with matters relating to the Justice Department, as well as financial issues and commercial litigation.”[3]

How is John Ashcroft getting along in the “private sector” these days? You don’t need to worry. Former Bushfraud US Attorney for New Jersey, Christopher J. Christie now New Jersey’s Republican candidate for Governor saw to it that Ashcroft’s talents have not been idle.[4]

“In October 2007, a group of medical supply companies settled with the DOJ over violations that they paid “kickbacks” and bribes to United States doctors. (As noted below, the manufacturers are now under investigation for violating the FCPA.) The settlements, which were overseen by New Jersey’s U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, required the appointment of compliance monitors. Several high-profile attorneys with close ties to Mr. Christie or the DOJ were selected to serve as monitors, including a former New Jersey State Attorney General, two former U.S. attorneys, and former Attorney General John Ashcroft (Mr. Christie’s former boss). Mr. Ashcroft’s monitorship reportedly could be worth up to $52 million for his law firm. By January 2008, concerns began to surface regarding the potential impropriety of appointing compliance monitors with strong ties to the DOJ.”

Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s own report on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act litigation [5]

It seems that one the Medical Supply company Zimmer, Inc. caught bribing government officials made a special request for another helping of Missouri Justice:

“Mr. Christie said that in addition to Mr. Ashcroft’s extensive legal experience, he is a native Missourian, and the company he was appointed to oversee had requested a monitor “with a Midwestern sensibility.””

But Zimmer never thought about Cole and Younger style Missouri sensibilities. Later, “Zimmer Inc., company lawyers objected to the Ashcroft Consulting Group’s plans to charge $1.5 million to $2.9 million a month”[6]

Some investigators now believe US Attorney Christie granted Bristol-Myers Squibb a deferred prosecution agreement (aka as a dangerous double system of justice[7]) in exchange forendowing an ethics chair at his alma mater, Seton Hall University School of Law.

Could it be that after the fox had the guard dog fired, the fox got on the phone to Hudson Foods and said send more chickens? Look at the strange case of the Cox Health settlement. The Medicare Grand Jury convened by the honest US Attorney for the Western District of Missouri Todd Graves. The reason Karl Rove had to have Graves fired.  http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/mow/news2008/cox.settlement.htm Here is a settlement that is three times bigger than Carol Lam forced Tenet Healthcare in San Diego to settle for. How is that a Southwest Missouri rural health system in the hills of the Ozarks and at the center of Kit Bond and Roy Blunt support has looted more from Medicare than a big urban hospital like San Diego’s Tenet and how are they paying over $60 Million when $20 Million broke Tenet San Diego?  And where is the criminal prosecution of any of the wrong doers? Maybe John Wood and Hughes Hubbard & Reed would  handle any of the awkward deferred indictments  when they arise.

Stay tuned....
