Al Gore Calls For ‘AMERICAN SPRING’ – We Can Afford Our Destiny
This speech given by Al Gore speaks to the importance of having a political movement in this country, inspired and driven by big ideas, chasing major change (not incremental shifts), and going after the issues that are important to this world and the people who live on it. Climate change. Education. Political fairness.
The youth of this country are the driving force for major change and we should respect the movements that these forces bring to the betterment of the country and our people. When Al Gore calls for an AMERICAN SPRING, much like the Arab Spring, he is calling out to the voices in America who want to bring positive change to this nation and encourage that change to make its presence known in big ways.
Bernie Sanders is aiming for big, positive change. Hillary Clinton is circling the status-quo like a marble circling the drain. Incremental change is nothing to be excited about, nor is it worth voting for… and Hillary Clinton, as the harbinger of ‘inches’ instead of ‘miles’ of future change only shows that the youth of this country, ages 60 and lower, are the ones who will be driving the change this country truly needs.
