BIBLE-Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn (Proverbs 29:2)

2 Chronicles 7-14, If My people, which are called by Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

For the scriptures say in the book of Hosea chapter 4 verse 6 that My people perish, for the lack of knowledge.

We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capability of mankind for self-government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. JAMES MADISON - Fourth President of the United States, member of the 1787 Constitutional Convention, and chief architect of the United States Constitution.

Crimes subject to the death penalty vary by jurisdiction. All jurisdictions which use capital punishment have murder as a crime which is subject to the death penalty, although many jurisdictions require additional aggravating circumstances. Treason is a capital offense in several jurisdictions. Other capital crimes include: aggravated kidnapping in Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky and South Carolina; train wrecking and perjury which leads to someone being executed in California; aircraft hijacking in Georgia and Mississippi; aggravated rape of victim under age 12 in Louisiana; capital sexual battery in Florida; and capital narcotics conspiracy in Florida and New Jersey. Federal death penalty crimes are various degrees and types of murder as well as treason, espionage, large scale drug trafficking, and attempting to kill any officer, juror, or witness in cases involving a Continuing Criminal Enterprise. There are 15 crimes subject to the death penalty under U.S. military law; however, many of them, such as desertion, are only applicable in times of war.

Capital punishment in the United States is officially sanctioned by 36 of the 50 states, as well as by the federal government. The overwhelming majority of executions are performed by the states; the federal government maintains the right to use capital punishment (also known as the death penalty) but does so infrequently. Each state practicing capital punishment has different laws regarding its methods, age limits, and crimes which qualify. The United States is second only to the People's Republic of China in the number of death sentences passed.

Electric Chair

The electric chair was a device commonly used for execution of convicted criminals during the 20th century in the USA. It was first used in the late 19th century. It was used by more than 25 states throughout the 20th century, acquiring nicknames such as Sizzlin' Sally, Old Smokey, Old Sparky, Yellow Mama, and Gruesome Gertie. To be put to death in an electric chair is colloquially known as "riding the lightning." Its continued use in the 21st century seems to be rapidly on the way out. The electric chair was also used, for a time, in the Philippines.

"The man never suffered a bit of pain!"
George Fell, executioner's assistance to first electrocution

1907: 'A comfortable seat in which to die'
By JON BLACKWELL / The Trentonian

For the next 56 years, the electric chair was the last destination for murderers and gangsters in Trenton
prison’s death house – most notably among them, Bruno Hauptmann, the convicted killer of the
Lindbergh baby.

Further, regardless of how well the execution was performed, some skin is always burned and it is unpleasant for the guard charged with separating the burned, oozing skin from the seat belts. The victim loses control of his muscles after the initial jolt of electricity, and may start to defecate and urinate on the floor beneath the chair. This led to a refinement in modern electric chairs: they were padded, and came with automatic, car-style seat belts.

Lethal Injection

Hitler's personal doctor, Karl Brandt, was the first to suggest injecting a lethal dose of poison as an execution method.

Currently lethal injection is the method used or allowed in 37 of the 38 states which allow the death penalty and by the federal government. Nebraska requires electrocution. Other states also allow electrocution, gas chambers, hanging and the firing squad. From 1976 to 2004, out of 944 executions: 776 have been by lethal injection, 153 by electrocution, 11 by gas chamber, 3 by hanging, and 2 by firing squad.

The execution of a victim in most states involves 3 separate injections:

  1. Sodium thiopental: to induce a state of unconsciousness intended to last while the other two injections take effect.
  2. Pancuronium/Tubocurarine: to stop all muscle movement except the heart. This causes involuntary muscle paralysis, collapse of the diaphragm, and eventually death by asphyxiation.
  3. Potassium chloride: to stop the heart from beating, and thus the victim's death: see cardiac arrest.

Hanging

Hanging is a form of execution, or a method for suicide. In England the short drop method was used until the 19th century until the more humane long-drop was introduced which caused the breaking of the neck (cervical fracture) The short drop caused death by the following ways

Firing Squad

Execution by firing squad is a method of capital punishment, particularly common in times of war. A firing squad is a group of people, usually soldiers, who are ordered to shoot at the condemned person simultaneously. No single member of the firing squad can save the condemned person's life by not firing, reducing the moral incentive to disobey the order to shoot, a phenomenon known as diffusion of responsibility.
